YESSSS!!! Before I even saw the picture, I saw the title on my blog roll and started singing the Marley and Marley song in my head. Once I took a facebook quiz on which Muppet I am (you know how accurate those quizzes are) and my result was Statler and Waldorf. It was supposed to be taken as kind of bad, but I was pleased.
Also, I totally agree about Michael Caine as the best Scrooge. Well, him and Scrooge McDuck.
As much as I adore the pre-death-of-Jim-Henson Muppets (and pity everything they've tried after he died), Muppet Christmas Carol still has a lot of the charm that seems lost in most of what they do these days.
We watched that last night on you tube thanks to your facebook link! You're the best! Hope you had a great Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLove it.
ReplyDeleteMost underrated muppets ever.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Idol would be much better if those two were sitting next to Simon
