Speedies

I've been faaaairly pathetic in the speedpaint arena this year.  In fact I think I regressed...let that be a lesson to you all.  This is definitely a goal for 2012.  Also less Samurai Jack backgrounds.  coughcough

Bookishish news:  If you haven't heard, you can get this
 for this!

It's part of an ebook promotion HarperTeen is doing called "Epic Reads Epic Deals".  You can get 9 other glam titles also for only 99¢ each until Jan. 31st, which is a pretty screamin deal.  Remember, though: Entwined is the only one there that starts with an E, and has the most love interests getting shoved into closets.  Which I think is worth 5 ramen any day!  Find ye therefore  Kindle  Nook

Here is a picture.

  1. I already own ENTWINED...I'm sad that I won't get a great deal on it, but I think I would be sadder if I had waited so long to read it!

  2. Yay! I listened to mine on audio book from the library, so I'm really excited to own it! Someday I'm going to own a hard copy.

    Also, Happy New Year! I'm surfing the internet to ring in 2012. Hope your night is more exciting!

  3. I just read it over Christmas break. It was surreal reading about Christmas Eve on Christmas Eve. Loved it!

  4. I think the pictures look great! (And only a small part of it comes from Samurai Jack nostalgia. Only a little!)

    I was one of the readers to take advantage of the promotion for and I'm glad I did because Entwined was fantastic. I've already gotten one friend to buy it and brought it to the attention of a few more.

  6. First: I LOVE the snow pictures!! They make me happyhappyhappy. And second: I love Entwinted too. As someone else already said, I'd be terribly sad if I'd waited this long to discover it. I'm ever so glad I found it as soon as it hit my library's shelves. It's now one of the books that moved with me to graduate school. :)

  11. Aw shucks you guys #^_^# #^_^# #^_^# Thanks.

    @Gillibean - It's a book/novel I wrote that was published last year. (I'm really shy & don't talk about it much.)

    @Caitlyn - I did laundry! This is a bi-annual event for me so I thought it was pretty exciting. Also: the reader in the audio book is amazing...Mandy Williams blows my brains

  12. I've actually been meaning to ask if you plan on writing more books. I'd certainly love to see another fairy tale remake by you. :)

    And I like the speed paints you did! I never have the courage to do landscapes. Or to paint. What a pain, too, because I really want to. Oh and I LOVE the picture of Azalea and Mr. Bradford!

  17. I SAW THAT WHEN IT WAS 99¢ IN MY NOOK STORE...and it sounded interesting...so I got the sample...and read a little...and forgot about it. UNTIL! (Dun du du dun!) My friend recommened it to me and was like "YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK I'M VOMITING RAINBOWS OVER HERE" or something like that...and so I was like OH YEAH! IT'S ONLY 99¢! OF COURSE I'LL GET IT!! but...it wasn't aymore...it was ten dollars. And I was sad. But I got it anyway! And loved it! and vomited a few rainbows myself. And then I found your blog. And have been looking through everything. And may I say, you are hilarious and amazing. P.s. write some more rainbow vomit worthy books. I would read them!
