Cinderella and the Prince

I read that in the early developments of "Cinderella," the Grand Duke brings her back to the Palace and when they arrive, the Prince comes running out to greet her.  He doesn't care at all that she's in rags.

Gosh!  I thought that was sweet.  So of course I had to draw it :) :)

  1. Very cute picture!
Too bad it wasn't actually in the film. :( I also heard that the creators had to choose between having more of the Prince in the story and having more talking mice...they chose more talking mice. As cute as GusGus and Jaq are I wish there had been more Prince. :)

  2. I love it. Every girl wants to be loved for who she really is, even if she's wearing rags! The Prince sees who she really is.....and adores her!

  3. That would have been a great addition to the film! They should have kept it.

  6. How did nobody else in the Kingdom have her shoe size?

  7. I'd be worried about running around in one flat and one heel. Maybe she tripped and fell into his arms and that's why he's picking her up. Either way, it's still very sweet. I love it.

  8. Aaaw, thanks guys! This was one of the funnest pictures I've ever drawn. I'd love to do a whole series!

@Celena - I have a theory. They live in a tiny kingdom where everyone marries each other and shares a "big foot" gene. Father gets married to evil stepmother and moves into town, bringing his daughter Cinderella, who does not have the "big foot" gene. It's all very scientific, really.
