Kid in candy shop time? Ok!
I love me some big poofy dresses. Here's how to play:
You'll need printable magnet sheets. You can find some at Wal-Mart ($6 for 3 sheets) or an office supply store, or Amazon (5-pack for $8.50 or so).
Print
Cut
Dress her dress her dress her in her do-mi-do duds.
Magnet sheets are nice because you can layer them.
Originally ALL the outfits were going to be black, as per the Entwined story, but that was a whooooole lot of work for just a one-note joke, and I am nothing if not a lazy bum. They're historically accurate though*, so now you can impress your friends with your knowledge of garibaldi blouses. You're welcome.
*insofar as the medium allows. They are cartoons.
Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving! ^_^
These are awesome! Thanks for posting.

And just out of curiosity is that green dress like the one Scarlett wears in Gone With the Wind when she visits Rhett in the jail? I'm almost certain that it is. Either way super awesome and a great gift idea. :)

ReplyDelete@Erica - Tangled dolls would be awesome...I don't know if Disney's done those yet or not (I know they have them for the other princesses...I should check it out.)
@Abby - It might have been me! I was there on Wednesday. Any other day it was my evil twin, who likes to set things on fire.

ReplyDeleteSo, I read _Entwined_ about three months ago, and LOVED it, and since then I've been following you on your blog, and I found the Azalea paper dolls that you made...and since you said we could print them out and play with them ourselves...you're going to make me into the Favorite Aunt at Christmas this year. :) So, thanks, and I think your work (both drawing work and writing work) is fantastic!
ReplyDelete@Cate - Yesssss! Favorite aunt FTW!! *fist pump* That's the title I aspire to!
