Heather buy the episode on Amazon.
The consultant doesn't know what to do.
The consultant recruits the help of
Head Consultant.
The Head Consultant knows...
everything.
He nods and listens and then he says:
"But what...
...is it that
...YOU want?"
And the bride is like:
Interview with Head Consultant:
"I just needed to ask her what she wanted!"
And I'm like
"Of course!"
And what do you know, the bride emerges from the dressing room, wearing
THE ONE.
And the consultant is crying
And the bridesmaid is crying
And the mom is crying
And the 3-year old is curiously absent
And the grandpa is crying
(...because he has to pay for the $5000 dress...)
And the fiance is like:
"When I saw her come out in that dress, she just...she just looked amazing..."
"She just...she just..."
And teens all over the country, they're watching and crying too
....and Guatemalan orphans are crying too
....and throwing their tortillas at the screen
...and North Korea nukes China
...and I'm like
5,000 DOLLARS FOR A FREAKIN' DRESS?!
So....
...I wonder if they find the dress in this episode....
On an unrelated note, does this remind anyone
of this?
Asking hypothetically. If it does, I WANT ONE
XD I love your interpretation.
ReplyDeleteFor sure similarities between the ring and the spider. You make me laugh!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally see the resemblance. But which one do you want? The spider or the ring?
ReplyDeleteWhy must she choose, Jenilyn? WHY MUST SHE CHOOSE?
ReplyDeleteOk, I know this series you are talking about and I feel the same way. Unfortunately as annoying and repetitive as the show is, it is also addicting. It's like you have to keep watching to see if all the episode really are the same and if the dresses will change any time soon.
ReplyDeleteVery funny. I laughed. a lot.
Freaky spider makes my skin crawl. The ring is shiny- Oooh so shiny!
ReplyDeleteYour rendition of reality tv shows. Spot on. :)
"The Madam Leota of Anxious Brides". Love.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how you worked in the "friovlos" with the angry children throwing limp tortillas. So great.
Now that you mention it, that ring does kinda look like a spider.
AUGH! SPIIIIAAAAAUGH!!!
ReplyDeleteI think we caught an episode of this on vacation once. They were having a marathon, actually. We were three hours late to dinner...
ReplyDeleteLooks more like arachnias deathicus to me.
ReplyDeleteYou should totally order that ring on Amazon!

P.S. I think it's official-we're moving into the basement with you guys.
DUN DUN DUNNNN.
It's about to get loud.
THAT LAST ONE JUST SCARED THE HOLY TACO OUT OF ME
ReplyDeletedo a part III! pleeeeeeaaaaase??? :)
ReplyDeleteBAHAHAHAHA!!! I haven't laughed this hard in ages. THANK YOU!! Yes! Oh my word... so funny! Seriously: "$5,00 for a dress?!!! Ooo! I think I'll watch just one more..."
ReplyDeleteClick.
I. Love. This.
Madam Leota! Lol! Perfect!!! *tears*
ReplyDeleteAnd that ring looks like it NOW. Holy cow, I will never be able to look at a ring like that again. Watch, you'll see me running and screaming out of a Morgan Jeweler's one of these days and YOU'LL KNOW WHY.
I love this blog!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou pretty much sum up my EXACT thoughts when watching "Say Yes to the Dress." I'm currently wedding dress shopping, and once I start trying on dresses that pass $500, I start to have difficulty breathing. AND YET THE SHOW IS SO ADDICTIVE.
ReplyDeleteAnd just for the sake of your wallet, because goodness knows I'VE spent enough on episodes, if you have a current netflix subscription, they've got a few of these shows on there. :P Makes such vices a bit easier.
I make my brother watch that show with me. And some of those dresses cost 20,000. I will never buy a dress that costs more than a car. And yes, I only buy used cars, but whatever.
ReplyDeleteahahahahahaaa! it's been too long since i've enjoyed such an awesome blog post. many thanks for sharing your art and your quirky sense of humor.
