A bit of a com-post today. When books are released, part of the promotion is a book trailer. A book trailer is like a movie trailer except completely different.
Because I like makin stuff, I was really happy when Greenwillow was willing to give me the reins. I had some vague idea to do an animatic, but it ended up being crummy and I'm not ashamed to say it. So, I was glad when they let me scrap the entire thing and make something that I felt was way more appealing. Phew.
Here are some boardy frames from the original. It was a good project, I'm glad I could do it.
I love it. It's just the way I imagine the book! Love it, love it, love it!
ReplyDeleteI just finished the book last night, and these pictures make me want to start it all over again. Thanks for such a wonderful story! So is the trailer ready? Can you post a link?
ReplyDeleteAw shucks #^_^#
ReplyDelete@Nikki - The trailer isn't ready yet (due to my wishywashyways) but hopefully this next week.
