I haven't been posting like usual due to deadlines and stuff, but next post will have real drawings.  In the meantime, remember Oregon TrailWell here is Organ Trail, a game where you try to cross the country in a sea of zombies.  Will you be a cop from Kentucky, or a lawyer from Miami?  Will your van make it without running out of gas?  Will the zombies eat any members of your party??

Play now.  Thank me later.

  1. This is awesome! It reminds me of a favorite family story. My brother was about to get married, so he and his fiancee were going through his old papers and they found something from second grade (or so) where he'd written my mom's name as Patricia Riley. (My mom's name is Patti. She has no middle name. He made the rest up.)

Well, a few days later they were heading out to get their marriage license, and my mom said, "you know my full name, right?"

And my brother said, "It's Patricia Riley, right?"

    Good thing my mom asked!

Also, your dog was really well done for a first-grader (no surprise, seeing your art now).

  2. I love finding artistic and literary treasures from the days of personal yore! I found a couple of picture books not long ago that I made myself as a tot. I love "dlitid".

  4. I love that you never had a dog, even though your parents were, clearly, delighted with it.

Also, I am loving Zombie Organ trail. People out there are brilliant!

  7. Growing up I always told my parents "if I get a girl doggy I'm gonna name it Lady. And if I get a boy doggy I'm gonna name it Tramp." my parents made sure to get me a girl doggy. She was a shetland sheepdog and very Lady like. Now I have a dachshund named Sophie (after Howl's Moving Castle)

    ...

    She is not Lady like
