Howl's moving Moving Castle

A fanart of "Howl's Moving Castle," by Diana Wynn Jones, a book I really enjoyed.  I thought since it was about a moving castle, it'd be cool to actually make the castle move.

The more I think about animated gifs, the more I think we've only brushed the surface of their potential.  No one seems to consider them much of an art form, but I think (I hope) we're slowly breaking out of that...like, cinemagraphs, and I know that Carrie Liao and Anthony Holden are doing some creative stuff.  Also, this guy...

    Now, if you were talking about animated PNGs, I might say there's some potential. But GIFs are, well... GIFs. Not such the hottest file format, if you ask me. Still, I agree they do have potential, and they're way easier to learn than Flash.

    Um, this is not only amazing, but eerily timed-- I have been re-reading Howl's Moving Castle this week, and just finished it last night and moved onto Castle in the Air. I've kind of been living and breathing Howl this week, so this is AWESOME to see ;-D
